CCIT innovations at Interphex Tokyo 2024

Our Japanese agent, Matsubo Corporation, will be participating at INTERPHEX Tokyo 2024. The key event for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries is part of Interphex Week Tokyo, taking place in Tokyo Big Sight from 26 to 28 June 2024. It gathers industry leaders and professionals to showcase the latest advancements in manufacturing and packaging technologies, providing a platform for networking with industry top leaders.

Live Multi-Q demonstrations

The Matsubo team will be on stand 29-17 to give live demonstrations of the Sepha Multi-Q. Known for its precision and efficiency, the Multi-Q is a non-destructive and deterministic CCIT solution that works in combination with different technologies including:

Vacuum Decay:

Utilising advanced vacuum decay technology, the Multi-Q can detect defects as small as 5µm (depending on container type and content) across a variety of container types, including vials, ampoules, pre-filled syringes, and flexible packaging. It adheres to ASTM F2338-09 standard test methods and USP 1207 guidelines. For applications demanding even greater sensitivity, the Multi-Q HD extends capabilities to identify defects as tiny as 1 micron (depending on container type and content).

Pressure Decay

This versatile system also integrates with Pressure Decay, capable of identifying defects in vials, lyophilized vials, ampoules, bottles, and other containers holding toxic products, oil-based liquids, protein/glucose, lyophilized powders, or other contents unsuitable for Vacuum Decay leak testing.

The Multi-Q is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and its compact, bench-top design makes it ideal for laboratory use during drug development or in-process batch testing, ensuring the integrity of containers manufactured on the production line.
