Sepha highlights latest packaging, leak test and deblistering solutions at interpack 2026
SEPHA (Hall 16, Stand F38), will showcase its latest pharmaceutical packaging and leak test solutions at interpack 2026, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 7 – 13 May 2026.
With a focus on improving quality assurance, ensuring container closure integrity, and supporting sustainable manufacturing, Sepha invites visitors to explore its comprehensive range of deterministic leak testing, deblistering, and small-scale blister packaging systems.
Showcasing the latest PakScan
A key highlight at the stand will be the latest PakScan, designed to support multiple pack sizes on a single machine for seal integrity testing of flexible packaging. This enables manufacturers to run different products on the same system, reducing the need for multiple dedicated machines and simplifying testing across their product range.
Reliable leak testing for every package
Sepha’s non-destructive, deterministic leak testing systems provide accurate and consistent results across a variety of pharmaceutical packaging formats. Unlike traditional destructive methods including blue dye testing, Sepha’s technologies remove subjectivity and variability from the process. Products that pass testing can be returned to the production line, reducing product loss, lowering costs and supporting more sustainable manufacturing practices.
From blister packs to parenterals, pouches, and medical devices, manufacturers can rely on robust, reproducible results aligned with the latest regulatory requirements including ASTM, USP <1207>, Annex 1 and 21 CFR Part 11 .
Products on show at interpack 2026
- VisionScan 3D: A non-destructive and deterministic leak detection system for blister packs of all foil types. Using vacuum deflection technology (ASTM F3169-16 (2024), it tests multiple packs at once and identifies defects as low as 5 microns in individual blister pockets.
- Multi-Q: A multi-functional Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) system for parenteral products and flexible packaging. It uses pressure decay and vacuum decay methods to provide clear pass/fail results in line with USP <1207> and ASTM F2338-24.
- PakScan: A newly developed seal integrity and leak testing system for non-porous flexible and semi-rigid packaging. Designed to support multiple pack sizes on a single machine through configurable layouts, it uses force decay in combination with vacuum decay technologies to detect seal defects, pinholes and leaks as low as 10 microns, delivering deterministic, non-destructive testing with clear pass/fail results for every pack.
Recovering products with deblistering solutions
Sepha will also present its deblistering solutions, designed to safely recover valuable product from rejected blister packs, helping manufacturers reduce waste and improve efficiency:
- PressOut Universal Mini: A compact, automated bench-top system ideal for low-volume recovery of tablets and capsules from various blister pack types, including peelable and child-resistant packs.
Flexible blister packaging for low-volume manufacturing
Completing the line-up is the EZ Blister+, Sepha’s 3-in-1 system for flexible blister packaging of small batches.
- EZ Blister+: A bench-top blister packaging machine designed for low-volume production. Combining thermoforming and cold forming in one system, it offers a practical and cost-effective solution for small and mid-sized batch packaging, without reliance on fully automated lines. Built for cGMP-regulated environments, it is 21 CFR Part 11 ready and integrates easily with MES and IT systems.
