We’re delighted to welcome two new apprentices, Clare O’Rourke and Jack Lyttle, to Sepha’s Production team. Both will contribute directly to the assembly and testing of Sepha’s product range, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of mechanical and electrical assembly.

Clare and Jack join us after completing full-time Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Engineering and are now embarking on their Level 5 Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) in Mechatronics at South Eastern Regional College (SERC). Their time will be split between four days per week at Sepha and one day per week at college, allowing them to combine academic learning with practical, real-world experience.

Speaking about their new roles, Clare said: “Joining Sepha gives me the chance to apply my studies in a real-world setting and learn directly from experienced engineers. I’m excited to develop my skills and grow within the team.”
Jack added: “The work we do at Sepha supports pharmaceutical companies around the world. It’s motivating to be part of something with such a global impact.”

Sepha has a strong track record of supporting apprentices through the HLA programme. Since welcoming our first HLA Mechatronics student in 2020, who went on to join us in full-time employment, we have consistently onboarded students from the course. The blend of mechanical, electrical, and computing skills gained through the programme is a perfect match for the technical expertise required in our production team.

By investing in apprenticeships, Sepha is investing in the future. The HLA partnership not only develops the next generation of engineering talent but also strengthens the company’s foundations for continued growth. Apprentices benefit from mentorship by highly experienced professionals, exposure to advanced equipment, and opportunities to contribute to the ongoing improvement of products and processes that support the global pharmaceutical industry.

At Sepha, we are proud to foster an environment that values innovation, learning, and growth. Our goal is that, by the end of their studies, apprentices like Clare and Jack will be well-prepared to step into full-time roles within the team.

Please join us in giving Clare and Jack a very warm welcome to Sepha!
