Sepha to showcase Blister Leak Test solution at FCE
Sepha will showcase its blister leak test solution at the upcoming FCE Pharma show in Sao Paulo from 21 – 23 May 2019. Sepha will join agent Almapal on stand D021 in hall D highlighting the VisionScan, a non-destructive, deterministic leak detection device for pharmaceutical blister packacking.
The VisionScan uses a combination of differential pressure and imaging technology to detect leaks, weak seals and channel leaks as low as 7µm. The machine is easy to operate and does not require any additional tooling, making it ideal to test different formats and sizes. After placing the blister packs in the test chamber, a pass/fail result will be given within 10 seconds for gross holes and 6 seconds for micron holes.
The innovative solution is a smart alternative for blue dye test methods, as the non-destructive technology means that the packs aren’t compromised during testing, allowing product to be returned to the line. Read more about the VisionScan.
